Lovely as Lovely as a Tree.....

I recently decided to use an old favourite....Lovely as a Tree.  It really is one of my go to sets, especially when I need a traditional Christmas tree image, as the single pine tree stamp is perfect for that!!  But I have decided to use the other stamps in the set tonight.....as I need to boost my collection of male cards.

I used Can You Case It's colour challenge as inspiration this time.....

And my 3 blues are Soft Sky, Pool Party and Marina Mist.

Here's the collection (yes there is a stow away tree in there....it's from Sheltering Tree)

I've also used an Early Espresso button on each card, and some silver metallic thread.   All 4 cards are a variation on the theme, which is a neutral image around a coloured sponged and masked area on the card front.

Hope you like them..... ;-)

Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Sheltering Tree

Colours: Whisper White, Soft Sky, Pool Party, Marina Mist, Early Espresso

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Happy stamping......Manda x

More Remarkable Friends....

Another of my crafty friends is having a birthday.  This lovely lady likes all things CAS ..... Clean and Simple.  So of course, that's what I tried to do with this card.  Also her favourite colour is yellow, so out came the Daffodil Delight stamp pad!!!

Oh....and of course a girls got to have some bling!

Here's what I came up with.

Hope your day was fabulous :-)

Colours: Memento Tuxedo Black, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White

Stamps: Remarkable You, Petite Pairs

Other: Basic Rhinestones, Clear Block D

Happy Stamping....Manda

Remarkable Friends.....

I just love this stamp set.....It's one of my favourites from the Annual Catalogue....and I don't seem to use it enough.  But for a friends 50th, I had to use it!!  She loves colouring, but she usually chooses a different medium.  I thought I do some watercolouring for the flowers, and I used my Stamp'n'Write makers for the leaves....

And here's the full card...... Hope your birthday was fabulous!!!

Stamps: Remarkable You, Happy Birthday Everyone

Colours: Whisper White, Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Wild Wasabi, Smokey Slate

Other: Watercolour Paper

Merry Pines.....

Don't you just love this embellishment?  I have layered Mossy Meadow Ribbon, Silver Ribbon and Silver Metallic Thread and attached it all to the raised panel with a silver staple.

But what is on the panel?

A very simple sentiment tree from Peaceful Pines stamp set, stamped in Cherry Cobbler.

Colours: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler

Stamps: Peaceful Pines

Other: Merry Moments DSP

Simple Peaceful Pines.....

A super quick and simple Christmas card using the new Peaceful Pines stamp set from the Occasions Catalogue together with the matching framelits.

It's a little tricky to see, but I have used dimensionals to pop up my pink pine tree.

Stamps: Peaceful Pines.

Happy Stamping.....Manda xx

Just a note....

This card features a favourite stamp set that was one of the first 5 I bought at the very first Stampin' Up! workshop I attended....and is one that I'll never part with.  It's called Elegant Notes, and at the time it called to the music teacher in me.

I hope the music teacher, who's birthday it was today, enjoys the card set that I've created for her just as much as I enjoyed using this stamp set to create.

Very CAS for me, being all one layer, but I love the masked panel which reminds me of DSP.  I've highlighted the edge of the panel with the embellishment, made with different bakers twine and a button.

I'm entering this into Colour Q's latest challenge.

**Edited to add....

Thanks to Claire for pointing out that this set fits in at CAS-ual Fridays this week too......I've now entered this post over there as well.  Hugs to you Claire ;-)

Happy Stamping....Manda xx
