You've got.....In Colours!!

 

I've finally had an opportunity to play with my new toys..... new In Colours (ink and ribbon....and card stock) and the new amazingly versatile stamp set....You've Got This.

 

Here is a quick and  CAS set that I whipped up in about 3o minutes tonight.....mainly took this long cause I had to keep cleaning the stamps to change colour!!!

 

So.....without further ado.....let me introduce you to the 2015-2017 In Colours....

Floral Birthday Wishes....

 

I saw the colour palette at this weeks Fusion challenge and loved it.....so decided to play along.

 

 

 

I decided to combine the photo inspiration with the sketch challenge over at CAS(E) this Sketch #128

 

 

So....here's the card.....

 

 

 

 

I've used the new Banner Triple punch to make by banner strip, and extended it over the edge of my card base for interest.  I've also created the background DSP.....not sure if it's got a 'proper' name or not, but I really like the effect.  Here are two close ups....

Stamps: Flower Shop, Build a Birthday

CAS(E) this Sketch #127.....Take 2

 

I decided to make another set of A7 note cards, and I've again used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch #127 for inspiration.   Here's the sketch to remind you....

And the full set.....basically all the same, with slight variations in the pattern of the DSP (from my stash) and with 3 different sentiments.

CAS(E) this Sketch #127

 

This is my entry into CAS(E) this Sketch #127, and also my first play with the new Bohemian DSP.

 

I'm in need of some masculine cards to add to my collection......hopefully this one fits the bill!!

Happy Birthday Mr S ......

 

Today is my husband's birthday, so this is the card that I made for him last night. 

 

I'm entering it into TGIF Challenges #07, which is a sketch challenge.

 

Colours: Tip Top Taupe, Mint Macaron, Whisper White

Other: Silver Bakers Twine, Chevron Embossing Folder.

Pool Party Butterfly....

 

This card was created to enter the Colour Q Challenge #294, using the colours in the graphic below.

 

 

I am really enjoying creating with Butterfly Basics at the moment. 

 

 

I particularly like the background block that I've stamped with So Saffron.....then lots of layered stamping with the other images from the set.  It's almost hard to believe that the card is all one layer, except for the butterfly!!    I have also added a little more Pool Party colour to the flower.

Just Add...... A Pop of Colour....

With a super simple CAS card.....but I really like it.   Elegant and simple.

 

Washi tape from my stash to create the strips at the bottom and some Melon Mambo buttons.

 

Sentiment is from "Four You".
